Happiness is Homemade #611

Hello and welcome to Happiness is Homemade!

In this post – a fall living room makeover, an old fashioned maple pecan pie recipe, pink and blue Christmas decor, an apple cider pomegranate spritz, and Thanksgiving dining room decor.

I’m Susan, the writer and creative behind From the Bay to the Beach, where I share all things modern California coastal living — from décor and DIY to style and seasonal inspiration. I’m so excited to be hosting this month’s party and can’t wait to celebrate the cozy charm of November with all of you!

Each week here at Happiness is Homemade, we feature a roundup of favorite ideas and projects shared at the previous party — everything from delicious recipes to clever crafts and beautiful home décor. It’s always inspiring to see what everyone’s been creating!

So grab a cup of something warm, get comfy, and let’s dive into the heart of the fall season together.

A New Look In The Living Room For Fall

This beautiful room stopped me in my tracks! Exquisitely Unremarkable shares how they updated their living room for fall with a gorgeous Ralph Lauren-inspired red patterned rug, on-trend lace cafe curtains, and an upcycled mirror over the mantel. I love all of the red accents.

Old Fashioned Pure Maple Pecan Pie

My late father loved Thanksgiving and was especially fond of pecan pie. The lovely pie was shared by Celebrating Southern Cooking With K. A simple swap of corn syrup to maple syrup makes this pie shine.

Christmas in my “New” Bedroom

A Debbie-Dabble Christmas shared their lovely bedroom all decorated for the holidays. I love their use of pink and blue, creating a pretty and feminine retreat. Many thoughtful details come together to create a personal and unique space.

Apple Cider Pomegranate Spritz

A Life Unfolding calls this “the perfect fall into winter cocktail” and I couldn’t agree more! What a beautiful photo too. The garnishes make it look extra festive. I can’t wait to try this perfect combination of lime, pomegranate juice, apple cider and vodka. Cheers!

Thanksgiving Dining Room Decor

An Organized Season shares their tips for creating an inviting look in your dining room, just in time for Thanksgiving. They share ideas for color palettes, centerpieces, place settings and more. Their lovely dining room is filled with autumnal delights.
