Hello and welcome to Happiness is Homemade!

I’m Susan, the writer and creative behind From the Bay to the Beach, where I share all things modern California coastal living — from décor and DIY to style and seasonal inspiration. I’m so excited to be hosting this month’s party and can’t wait to celebrate the cozy charm of November with all of you!

Each week here at Happiness is Homemade, we feature a roundup of favorite ideas and projects shared at the previous party — everything from delicious recipes to clever crafts and beautiful home décor. It’s always inspiring to see what everyone’s been creating!

So grab a cup of something warm, get comfy, and let’s dive into the heart of the fall season together.

Simple Fall Decorating Ideas

First up, some simple fall decorating ideas from Sonata Home Design. From tiny pumpkins in teacups, to color schemes and coffee table stylings, you’ll definitely find some ways to add some fall accents to your decor.

Homemade Apple Pie Recipe

Nothing says fall to me like pie, specifically apple pie. This delicious-looking slice of pie from Crystal & Co. has a secret ingredient – pineapple! I can’t wait to try this.

Rustic Striped Magnolia Lazy Susan

This pretty lazy Susan from Creative Moments caught my eye. Turns out it’s a creative upcycle of an old IKEA wooden table spinner! I love the addition of the Magnolia flower transfers on top of the stripes.

How to Make a Thanksgiving Turkey Charcuterie Board That Wows Your Guests

I cannot stop laughing at this pear turkey! How cute is that? Those candy eyes are everything. This turkey charcuterie board is the perfect way to serve snacks to your guests before Thanksgiving dinner. Head to Walking on Sunshine Recipes to find out how to make it!

Healthy Homemade Dog Biscuits

Here’s a recipe to show your furry friends how thankful you are for them. These healthy homemade dog biscuits from Cindy’s Online Recipe Box can be made in two different flavors – garlic and cheese AND pumpkin and peanut butter. I know my dog Belle will want me to make this one!
