This Week’s Features

Summer isn’t over yet!  I’m always looking for fun sides to take to gatherings, and this recipe for Pennsylvania Dutch Pepper Slaw  looked yummy!  Fun fact – I only live about 30 minutes from the Pennsylvania border!

Thrift shop and flea market junky right here folks!  I’ve got my own little mental list of items I’m always on the hunt for, but here’s a great list of Things You Should Buy at a Thriftstore and Never Pass Up for someone looking to get into the hobby!

This is one of my favorite carnival foods next to fried dough.  I’ve never been able to recreate this until now – here’s a recipe for an Air Fried Blooming Onion – this is a must try for me!  Now I just need to find a recipe for the sauce they serve with it 😀

Last May before school got out for the summer, our school nurse brought in a lovely treat of overnight oats for all of us to enjoy in the morning before the school day started.  It TOTALLY opened my eyes to this new form of breakfast – SOOOO delicious!   That being said, I jumped at the chance to try a recipe at home, so here is Overnight Cookie Dough Oats.

BONUS FEATURE

Absolutely intrigued by this – I love pizza and I love fruit, so let’s do this!  Here is Watermelon Dessert Pizza – cheers to August!
