Styled 2 Ways #14
It’s time for another fun Styled 2 Ways collaboration and once again, MaryJo and I area sharing our individual takes on the same theme. This month, our theme is thankfulness, and we’re sharing some free Thanksgiving printables to express our gratitude for our readers. So thank YOU for being here! Be sure to visit MaryJo’s site (linked at the end of this post) for more great freebies!

Thank You for Being Here!
I would like to thank each and every one of you for visiting this blog.
When I first started this blog in March of 2024, I was looking for a creative outlet to share my interests, thoughts and style. It has since become a how-to guide, a link party host, and a sort of personal diary through my B2B Friday posts. I hope that you, my readers, have found something useful or at the very least entertaining on this site. I have very much enjoyed brainstorming new things to share with you all each week and will continue to do so. I love being a member of the blogging community and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
If you are visiting from Masterpieces of my Life, welcome! I’m glad you’re here today! In this post, I’m sharing 5 matching menu and placecard designs. Most have a coastal theme, as you might expect. I hope you find something you like to download and save.
Tip: For best results, I recommend printing both the menus and placecards on medium to heavyweight cardstock. The color of the cardstock (white or cream is recommended) as well as the texture will affect the results. You can print 4 placecards on one sheet of cardstock.
Thanksgiving Menu Printables
Creating a printed menu for Thanksgiving adds a thoughtful, personal, and elevated touch to the celebration. Here are several compelling reasons why it’s worth doing.
Sets the Tone for the Meal
A printed menu instantly makes your Thanksgiving dinner feel more intentional and special—like dining at a beautiful restaurant or boutique inn. It signals to guests that you’ve put care into the details and helps set the overall theme or aesthetic (coastal, traditional, rustic, modern, etc.).

Complements the Tablescape
Menus can be part of your décor! Coordinating fonts, paper textures, and colors with your centerpiece, napkins, or place cards ties the whole table together. For example, a coastal Thanksgiving menu might use watercolor blues and seashell motifs, while a farmhouse one could feature kraft paper and twine.

Helps Guests Know What’s Coming
A menu lets everyone see what dishes are being served—especially helpful if you have dietary accommodations, family recipes, or a mix of classic and new dishes. It also builds anticipation (“Ooh, pumpkin cheesecake is on the list!”).
Watercolor Pumpkins Menu

Creates a Keepsake
Printed menus can double as mementos. You can save one for your holiday scrapbook or display it alongside photos from the evening. Guests may even take theirs home as a sweet reminder of the day.
Pink Coral Menu

Adds a Personal or Storytelling Element
You can include short notes like “Grandma’s Cranberry Relish” or “Our First Thanksgiving in San Diego,” making the menu a mini story of your family traditions. It’s a meaningful way to celebrate continuity and change.

Thanksgiving Placecard Printables
Using place cards at Thanksgiving might seem like a small detail, but they add a surprising amount of warmth, organization, and charm to your gathering — especially when you’ve taken time to decorate your table beautifully. Here’s why they’re worth including.
They Make Guests Feel Welcomed
A place card says, “You have a special spot at this table.” It’s a small but meaningful gesture that shows each guest was thought of personally. For family and friends, it conveys care and hospitality; for newcomers or blended gatherings, it makes introductions easier.

They Keep the Table Organized
Assigning seats avoids the awkward shuffle of “Where should I sit?” moments — especially with large families or mixed friend groups. You can thoughtfully pair people who’ll enjoy talking or separate those who might need a little space (we all have one or two!).

They Elevate the Tablescape
Place cards double as décor. Coordinated with your menu and table setting, they create a cohesive, styled look — whether you’re going for coastal chic, rustic farmhouse, or classic harvest. You can get creative with materials like shells, mini pumpkins, driftwood, or handmade tags.

They’re a Fun DIY Element
If you love crafting or creating seasonal décor, place cards offer an easy, low-cost way to add artistry to your table. You can print, paint, stamp, or tie them to napkins or gift tags for a custom look. You can also embellish ready-to-print placecards for a custom look.

They Add a Personal Touch
You can go beyond names — include a short note, quote, or even a word of gratitude (“So thankful for you,” “You make everything brighter”). These small details spark smiles and conversation.
